Princess Elsa

Class: Jedi Consular / Sage
Race: Human
Age: 19
Alignment: Light
Crew Skill: Biochem
Character Concept:
Sometimes, I'm just a run-o-the-mill fanboy.

Elsa is a Princess by birth, a noble daughter of House Arendelle from the northern lands of Alderaan. As a child, she began to show an affinity for wielding the Force, but because of an unfortunate incident in which she accidentally injured a family member, her parents and close family conspired to hide her from the rest of the world and keep her abilities a secret.

By remaining in near-total isolation until her late teens, she managed to avoid being discovered and recruited by the Jedi, despite being a noble on one of the core worlds of the Republic. That secrecy eventually ended at her debutante ball when she again lost control of her powers.

Thanks to the influence of her family, the Jedi were persuaded to take her in and help train her to control her power, despite being well beyond the normal age of indoctrination. There, they discovered that she was quite powerful and that she had a particular affinity for the manipulation of ice and snow. Coincidentally, her years of trying to keep her power under control on her own made her an exceptionally quick study when it came to learning the Jedi's techniques for calming the emotions and maintaining self-control.

Today, though nominally a Padawan of the Jedi Order, she still maintains her wealth and titles on Alderaan. But more importantly, she is happy now that she no longer has to live in fear and isolation, and is able to use her abilities out in the open.

Origin of the name:
Elsa (actually "El-sa" in game) from Disney's Frozen.  DUH!

Origin of the Costume:
In game, Elsa is a reproduction of the "Ice Queen" outfit from the latter part of the movie. It is primarily a blending of the Sensuous Dress Top with Visas Marr's Lower Robes, and colored with a Pale Blue/Gray dye module. Combined with the new Hairstyle #45 (the long braid) in the platinum blonde color, the overall effect is pretty convincing, if I do say so myself.

She also wears a Regal Apparel Tiara, which is normally hidden, on her head. It seemed appropriate.

Her lightsaber color crystal is Farmhand Blue, which I chose out of the MANY crystal colors I'd tried out because it looks most like an icicle when ignited.

I later added the weapon tuning that causes snow to fall around the character when the weapon is drawn because . . . c'mon . . . I HAD TO.

Trivia:
  • Though I did write her bio as a Star Wars themed allegory of the plot of Frozen, I do not consider Elsa to be part of the same story continuity as my other characters.
  • Elsa is only the second character of mine who wears a full-length skirt, and the only one on the Republic side.
  • Regrettably, I got the idea to do this AFTER the December 2013 "Life Day" event. So even though I made a point of getting a Life Day Snowball Bomb on all my characters at the time, Elsa was one of a handful who didn't have one for the first year of her existence.
  • An appropriate character for the "Feeling the Chill" legacy title!  (formerly "A Special Snowflake")
